680 million will help farmers offset up to half of the costs of production and sale of wheat, rye, barley and corn. Mishustin noted that these funds, directed to the regions, will strengthen the country's food security and help stabilize prices for grain products in the domestic market.
- For each region, the amount of funding was calculated based on the volume of products received. Regional authorities, in turn, will transfer funds to local agricultural companies, the resolution says.
Most of the money will go to the Krasnodar Territory - over a billion rubles, and the smallest amount - 340 million - will go to the Altai Territory, Interfax writes.
